The open rate and the delivery cost are not the same story. Here is how the three channels stack up for a small business sending promotional offers.

How it works

From idea to every walletin under a minute

1

Write your message

Compose your EN and FR copy in the dashboard. One message, two languages. Each customer sees the one set on their phone.

2

Segment or broadcast to all

Growth targets by enrollment date. Pro adds filters by stamp count, last redemption, and recent inactivity, so each campaign lands with the customers it's meant for.

3

Send now or schedule

Growth sends right away. Pro lets you pick a local date and time, and the send goes out at the right moment in your business hours.

4

Wallets refresh in parallel

Both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet refresh in parallel. The notification appears on the lock screen within seconds, on every phone.

What you can do<br/>with a broadcast

Everything you need to run real marketing campaigns, without an extra tool.

Basic on Growth · Advanced on Pro

Segmentation

Reach only customers who matter for this campaign: new signups, inactive for 30 days, redeemed a reward last week, or collected at least 5 stamps.

Pro

Scheduling with timezone

Pick the local send time: Thursday 5pm, Saturday noon, or any moment that fits your business. Perfect for happy hours, lunch-break promos, or weekend openings.

Growth / Pro

Bilingual delivery

Write in English and French once. Each customer sees the language set on their device. No duplicate campaigns, no guesswork.

Growth / Pro

Delivery transparency

See exactly how many messages reached Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, got throttled by quota, or skipped because the wallet was uninstalled. Honest reporting, not inflated rates.

Delivery you can actually verify

Every broadcast shows a per-provider breakdown, so you know where your message landed, not just that it was sent.

Real campaigns, real businesses

A few ways our partners actually use wallet broadcasts.

Café: Happy hour

"Every coffee €2 between 4pm and 6pm today." Sent to all cardholders at 3:30pm. A third walk in before closing.

Restaurant: Fill a slow night

"Tuesday is -20% on the tasting menu." Scheduled every Monday evening. Turns the deadest night of the week into the second-busiest.

Salon: Seasonal push

"Back-to-school blowout: €5 off any cut this week." Targeted to customers who haven't visited in 45 days.

Bakery: New product launch

"Our new sourdough is live today. The first 30 buyers get a free pastry." Broadcast to everyone with a loyalty card.

Marketing that respects the customer

Wallet broadcasts are designed to feel like a loyalty perk, not an ad.

  • Consent is collected at pass install. Customers can disable wallet notifications at any time.
  • The customer owns their data. They can remove the pass in one tap, and the notifications stop immediately.
  • One clean banner per broadcast, not a generic "Pass was changed" notice.
  • GDPR compliant. No advertising tracking, no data sold or shared.

Questions we hear a lot

Straightforward answers about wallet marketing for small businesses.

How much do wallet promotional campaigns cost?

Nothing extra. Broadcasts are included in the Growth plan (3 per month) and the Pro plan (unlimited). There is no per-message fee, unlike SMS where each send costs €0.04 to €0.10 in France. A single SMS campaign to 500 customers can easily cost €30 to €50.

Do customers need to install an app?

No. Customers install a standard Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass, which is the loyalty card itself. Wallet notifications are a native feature of both platforms, already present on every modern iPhone and Android phone. No store download, no account, no permission prompts beyond adding the pass.

How does wallet marketing compare to SMS?

Wallet notifications appear on the lock screen like an SMS, but they are free to send, reach around 85% open rate, and won't land in the iOS 26 "Unknown sender" filter. You also get built-in segmentation (by stamps earned, redemptions, or recent inactivity), which SMS platforms usually charge extra for.

Can I schedule campaigns in advance?

Yes, on the Pro plan. Pick a local date and time, and the send goes out at the right moment in your business hours. The Growth plan sends campaigns immediately when you hit "Send", which fits most flash-promo use cases.

Can I target specific customers?

Yes. On Growth you can filter by enrollment date (new signups vs longtime customers). On Pro you get advanced segmentation by stamp count, last redemption, and last-visit inactivity window, so each campaign reaches only the customers it's designed for.

Is this GDPR compliant?

Yes. Consent is collected when the customer installs the pass, and they can disable wallet notifications at any time from their device settings. We never sell or share customer data with third parties, and customers can remove the pass from their wallet at any time.

Does it work with both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet?

Yes. Every broadcast goes out to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet in parallel. Your customers see the notification whether they use an iPhone or an Android.

What happens if I reach the Growth monthly cap?

You can either wait for the next month, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited broadcasts plus scheduling and advanced segmentation. Automatic notifications (stamp, milestone, reward) keep firing regardless, since the cap only applies to manual promotional campaigns.
